A woman driving north on I-29 hit a guard rail, which caused her vehicle to careen over the railing onto a street below.

The Chevy Blazer came to rest after a 20 foot drop off the bridge near Tea, causing life threatening injuries for the driver.

According to KDLT News, the motorist was wearing a seat belt and was airlifted to Sanford hospital.   There were no other passengers in the vehicle.
