A University of South Dakota student was an alleged victim of a sexual assault over the weekend on the school's campus.

The victim in the case reported the incident to university police on the morning of Halloween.

According to KDLT News, police logs show the rape took place on October, 30 between 9:52 AM and 12:15 PM at Beede Hall.

Authorities are still trying to find the suspect in the case. It's also not known if the suspect is a student or not, however, the victim was directed to the USD counseling and support services program. A service the university provides whenever a student reports being sexually assaulted or raped.

The Vermillion, South Dakota Police Department, who is handling the investigation said, the public doesn't appear to be in any danger.

During 2015, three rapes were reported on the USD campus and one off campus.
