Two men are in custody and charged after an undercover operation in Sioux Falls that was conducted by city, county, state and federal authorities.

Authorities say the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Sioux Falls Area Human Trafficking Task Force conducted the operation from Thursday through Saturday of last week.

Twenty-four-year-old Elijah Wilson and 22-year-old James Anthony Murphy, both of Sioux Falls, are each charged with one count of solicitation of a minor, a Class 4 felony that carries a maximum penalty for conviction of up to ten years in prison and/or a $20,000 fine.

Attorney General Marty Jackley, U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson, Sioux falls Police Chief Doug Barthel, Minnehaha County Sheriff Mike Milstead and State's Attorney Aaron McGowan announced the arrests Monday morning.
