Sioux Falls Police Officer Sam Clemens says the Walgreens Pharmacy at 41st and Louise was robbed around 9:00 A.M. Thursday.

"He made his way back to the pharmacy and told them he wanted some pills and some cash. He was pretty specific I think about the type of controlled pills that he wanted. There were several people that were working the pharmacy. As one person was complying with him and gathering those items---another person called police. The dispatcher had the information and put out there was a robbery taking place. Fortunately, we had some U.S. Marshalls that happened to be nearby. They heard the robbery call and went to the parking lot. They actually saw the suspect as he left the store. They were able to apprehend him."

Clemens says investigators are trying to determine if the suspect also robbed a convenience store overnight Thursday.

It's not known at this time what charges the unidentified suspect would get.
