An alert passerby helped Sioux Falls police catch two Nebraska men who allegedly broke into a convenience store and made off with an ATM early Friday.

Officer Sam Clemens says the witness was driving past the Get 'N Go at Interstate 229 and South Cliff Avenue around 3:50 AM, noticed a U-Haul truck next to the building and called 9-1-1 to report it:

Clemens says an officer who was on I-229 turned around and followed the truck with other officers, and the U-Haul was stopped near the Lennox Exit on Interstate 29. He says 23-year-old Kentrell Jermaine Reed and 22-year-old Isaiah Dupree Brown, both from Omaha, are charged with third-degree burglary, grand theft, possession of stolen property and felony intentional damage to property.

Clemens says the ATM and a sledgehammer were found in the back of the truck, but the whereabouts of the third man are not known.
