A Watertown pawn shop owner can thank his two dogs for preventing a would-be burglar from getting away with any merchandise from his store.

The incident took place early Tuesday morning, May 17, 2016, at Lester's Gun and Pawn in Watertown, South Dakota.

The would-be thief, 20-year-old Christopher Bain, broke a window in the store only to be confronted seconds later by the two dogs.

Bain was able to get away by punching the two animals, he then fled the business empty-handed.

Watertown authorities apprehended Bain on Wednesday and charged him with intentional damage to property and burglary.

I think if I were that owner, I'd consider renaming the two dogs; Tyson and Mayweather.
