The Minnesota Twins may not have the best record, but fans that enjoy an icy, cold adult beverage during a baseball game may now be admitting that Target Field could be their new favorite ballpark to visit.  The reason?  Self-serve beer stations!

Each self-serve beer station offers four beers to choose from:  Bud, Bud Light, Goose Island 312 Urban Pale Ale and Shock Top Lemon Shandy.  Beer drinkers must show their legal ID to obtain a pre-paid beer card, then they can step up to the self-serve beer station and make their choice.  Bud and Bud Light drinkers will be charged 38 cents per ounce and Goose Island and Shock Top drinkers will be charged 40 cents per ounce with a limit of 48 ounces every 15 minutes.  Each self-serve beer station will be monitored by a Target field employee and are expected to close down during the seventh inning.

This self-serve beer station may be the first of it's kind used in any major league baseball stadium and possibly at any pro-sporting event, and just in time for the 2014 MLB All-Star game.
