Twin Carries Her Sister Across Finish Line at Track Meet

Even though they came in last place at the state track meet in Trenton, Illinois, these two sisters are winners in my book. Eigth grade twins, Chloe and Claire Gruenke, were competing in the 800-meter race when Chloe fell to the ground with a muscle strain more than 350 meters from the finish line.

That’s when her sister came over and put her on her back. The 13-year-old jogged at first, but got really tired so she walked the rest. She didn’t carry her sister over the finish line, though. They stopped before it, and crossed the line together. The place went nuts!
