RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - A South Dakota traffic stop found two box springs stuffed with 89 pounds of marijuana.

Four California men were arrested and charged with drug distribution and possession. They were driving two vehicles when the arrests happened Thursday on Interstate 90 east of Rapid City.

The Rapid City Journal reports that a South Dakota Highway Patrol trooper pulled over Thai Yang of Sacramento for speeding. Yang was driving an SUV and towing a rented trailer.

Yang gave the trooper permission to search the trailer, and the search found two box springs stuffed with 89 pounds of marijuana.

Court documents say the pot was being taken to St. Paul, Minn.

Earlier this week, authorities stopped another man near Rapid City who was carrying 99 pounds of pot in his car.
