AAA South Dakota will be offering its life-saving Tipsy Tow service on Super Bowl Sunday in four cities across the state.

According to Marilyn Buskohl with Triple-A “It doesn’t matter if you’re a Bronco or a Panthers fan, if you feel unsafe behind the wheel after drinking, call for a ride. Triple-A will make sure you, up to one more person and your car all get home safely, no charge, no questions asked.”

Tipsy Tow starts at 3 p.m. this Sunday, Feb. 7 and runs until 4 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8 in Sioux Falls, Rapid City, Mitchell and Yankton.

Tipsy Tow is a free community service, open to AAA members and non-members alike. Call (800) 222-4357 (AAA HELP) and say, “I need a Tipsy Tow.”

AAA will give you and your vehicle a ride home within a 15-mile radius of point of pickup.

Although Tipsy Tow is offered in South Dakota for major holidays and special events, it is not a nationwide program. If you plan to drive out of state, check with the local AAA club to see if it is available in that area.
