Tip-a-Cop Event Raises Money for South Dakota Special Olympics
It's mid-week and you're looking for a reason not to cook, but, it has to be a really good reason. Have I got one for you! Once again this year Texas Roadhouse by the Empire Mall is hosting the annual "Tip A Cop" event to benefit Special Olympics South Dakota on Wednesday and Thursday, November 4th and 5th, 2015 from 5 to 9 PM.
You'll not only get a great meal in a fun atmosphere, but you'll be served by some of Sioux Falls finest law enforcement officers who are donating their time and talents. All tips and special donations go directly to support the 2,000 athletes and 26 sports programs which make up Special Olympics South Dakota.
The benefits of the Special Olympics programs are numerous; for the differently-abled athletes who have fun, make friends, gain confidence, as well as stamina and physical strength, and for their families who share the joy and accomplishments of their own children and celebrate with other Special Olympics families.
Special Olympics athletes are healthier and more skilled employees who contribute greatly to our thriving economy here in Sioux Falls and in other South Dakota communities and this is a wonderful opportunity to support their efforts. So turn off the oven, grab your keys and your kids and head for "Tip A Cop" event here in Sioux Falls!
