TLC songbird Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins will star in her own reality series, ironically, with cable network TLC (aka The Learning Channel). According to TMZ, the show is called 'Totally T-Boz' and it will air on TLC in 2013.

So far, TLC (the channel!) is only committed to four episodes of the program, which is filming right now. The series will follow the 42-year-old singer as she focuses on her new music and regaining her health after numerous medical problems.

In a press release (courtesy of TV by the Numbers), TLC describes the show as a T-Boz's personal journey of struggles and successes.

The docu-series focuses on Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins as she returns to Los Angeles with the goal of re-booting her music career, this time as a single mother, and after surviving years of recovery from a life-threatening brain tumor, which forced her to relearn how to walk and talk. Now, she’s coming out of the shadows and uprooting her comfy life in the suburbs of Atlanta for a return to the bright lights of Hollywood, with the support of her closest family and friends."

Also starring in the show is T-Boz's daughter Chase, her little brother Kayo, cousins Barb and Chris, best girlfriend Tae-Tae and business partner Tara.

T-Boz's reality series couldn't come at a better time considering she's been dealing with financial problems and has been recovering from her brain surgery.

We wish T-Boz the best of luck with her new television show!
