Zendaya's latest song, "Something New" features something old, a sample from TLC's "Creep."

This new song got me feeling all kinds of nostalgic about the TLC song.

It was released in 1994 and was the first single from their album, CrazySexyCool.

The song went to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.

The song was nominated for Grammys including, Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. TLC won the Grammy for R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.

The song is about a woman finding out her man is cheating and as revenge, she goes and cheats. Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes stated in a documentary that she was against the message of the song because she thought a woman should leave that sort of situation instead of cheating. On a later version of the song, Lisa has a rap breakdown from that point of view. However, I find it funny that she wouldn't cheat to get revenge on her man, but she'll burn his house down. Remember that? When she accidentally set her NFL football player boyfriend's house on fire?! May she rest in peace.

I would have been nine or so when this song came out so I had no idea what the lyrics were really about, I just thought it had a nice beat and I could dance to it. LOL.
