Throwback Thursday: ‘Breathless’ by The Corrs (2000)

It's St. Patrick's Day Eve!

Throwback Thursday this week is brought to you by Irish family band The Corrs. The Corrs are made up of siblings Andrea, Sharon, Caroline, and Jim. They are from Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland. Plus, I think any band with a girl drummer is super cool.

"Breathless" was the first single from The Corrs third album entitled, In Blue. 

"Breathless" has become their signature song after being a huge hit around the world. In the US the song went to #34 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #7 on Billboard Adult Top 40, giving The Corrs their only top 40 hit in America.

The song even got the band nominated for a Grammy in 2001 in the Best Pop Performance by Duo or Group with Vocals category.

The song was produced by Mutt Lange and the music video was directed by Nigel Dick.

The music video was filmed in California in the Mojave desert.
