"Du Hast" was the second single from German band, Rammstein's second album, Sehnsucht.

After its release in 1997 it was featured on many soundtracks and video games such as The Matrix: Music from the Motion PictureHow HighGuitar Hero 5 and Rock Band 3.

The title "Du Hast" actually means you have. A lot of people thought it meant you hate, but you hate in German is du hasst. A subtle difference that the band was fully aware of.

According to Wikipedia:

"Du hast" peaked at number twenty on the BillboardMainstream Rock Songs chart in the United States. It is the most successful German language song in the history of that chart.

The song clearly had some crossover appeal, not just over the ocean, but also genres of music. I know the song because it started getting votes and airplay on MTV's TRL. Right smack dab in between Backstreet and Britney there was Rammstein.
