Throwback Thursday: ‘Absolutely (Story of a Girl)’ by Nine Days (2000)

"Absolutely (Story of A Girl)" was released in April of 2000 and it went on to be one of the songs of the Summer of the year 2000.

The song was the lead single from Nine Days' album, The Madding Crowd.

Nine Days was a band out of Long Island, New York made up of John Hampson, Brian Desveaux, Jeremy Dean, and Nick Dimichino.

"Absolutely" debuted in the top ten of Billboard's Hot 100, making it all the way to #6, however on Billboard's Mainstream Top 40 it went all the way to #1.

The song was so popular that it was featured on Now That's What I Call Music! 5.
