"My Humps" was the third single from The Black Eyed Peas (BEP) album, Monkey Business.

The song features BEP members Fergie and Will.I.Am in a duet with other group members on back up vocals.

"My Humps" was crucified by critics. According to Wikipedia, "Rolling Stone readers voted the track number one in the "20 Most Annoying Songs" list.[19] Ryan Schreiber of Pitchfork Media listed "My Humps" at number three on "The 15 Worst Releases of 2005" list."

Many critics thought the song had an awful message of objectifying women and painted a terrible picture of materialism and sexual innuendo. Some critics even noted that the song seemed beneath The Black Eyed Peas, who were usually a more innovative and socially conscious group.

But, like, it's catchy and has a good beat I can dance to. I'm not gonna lie. I bopped to this in college. I knew the lyrics were silly and vapid, but sometimes you just need shallow fun.

Even with all the negative criticism, the song was a huge commercial success. It peaked at #3 on Billboard Hot 100 and #4 on Billboard Mainstream Top 40 and Rhythmic chart.

"My Humps" also won the MTV Video Music Award for Best Hip-Hop Video and the Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.
