After watching the Justin Bieber roast on Comedy Central, where Ludacris roasted his oftentimes collaborater, I had to pick him for a throwback. Plus, Furious 7 comes out this week featuring Ludacris. So it was a given.

Money Maker was on Ludacris' fifth album Release Therapy. The song, produced by The Neptunes and featuring Pharrell was released in 2006.

According to Wikipedia:

It has peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and number 1 on Hot Rap Tracks in the United States. It also became the number 1 single on radio in the United States on October 19, 2006[specify]. The music video managed to enter BET's 106 & Park and peak at number 1, where it remained for several days.

Making Money Maker Ludacris' third #1 single. The song also won the Grammy for Best Rap Song in 2007.

The video has all the ingredients for a solid hip-hop music video. Girls. Check. Bling. Check. Cars. Check. Cash Money. Check. Snakes? Check.

I'm sure the phones and technology in this video were very state of the art in 2006, but it is kind of laughable now.

The video includes cameos from Allen Iverson and Bobby Valentino. This video is also the first time Ludacris debuted his new hairdo! He introduced the fade and got rid of his signature corn rows.
