On VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of the 90s, "Jump Around" was featured at position 24.[1] It was number 66 on VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop.

I thought this song was well suited for St. Patrick's Day because the members of House of Pain are proud Irish Americans. In fact, the music video was filmed during the 1992 NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade.
