Throwback Thursday – Hoobastank ‘Crawling in the Dark’ (2002)

Hoobastank busted on the music scene in 2002 with their debut song, "Crawling in the Dark." The song was the lead single off of their debut album,  Hoobastank. 

The song was released in April of 2002 and ended up charting pretty well. Wikipedia states:

 It reached #3 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart and #7 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.

The song may also be recognizable because it was on the soundtrack for More Fast More Furious.

The video isn't anything too crazy. Just the band performing in a semi-dingy underground bar and you see a few of their fans en route to the show!

It was also featured in a Mountain Dew commercial. When I went to search for the commercial, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the beautiful Channing Tatum was in it! How did I not remember this fact? I remember the commercial, why did Channing escape my memory?
