Tis the season for graduations. My brother will be graduating from college this Sunday after seven years. But who is counting?

And while I know Vitamin C's song is more about high school graduations, I still thought it appropriate. The sentiment is the same. You hope to stay in touch with the people you went to school with.

"Graduation (Friends Forever)" was the third single from Vitamin C's debut self-titled album. It was released in 2000.

I wasn't aware of this, but Wikipedia informed me that...

The song is heavily based on Pachelbel's Canon in Dtransposed to the key of C major, and also includes the

opening of Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 30.[1]

Also the song did pretty well on the charts.

The single reached number twelve on the Top 40 Mainstream, number twenty-three on the Rhythmic Top 40 and #38 on the Billboard Hot 100 on May 30, 2000, after reaching the Top 40 on May 9, becoming her second single to reach the Top 40.
