"Escape" was the second single off of Enrique Iglesias' album of the same name.

The song was co-written by Enrique as well as Kara DioGuardi, whom you may remember as a judge on American Idol back in the day.

The music video co-stars Anna Kournikova as Enrique's love interest. But after making this video their on screen love affair turned into a real one. And as far as my research could tell me, they are still together.

According to Wikipedia:

"Escape" premiered on MTV's top-ten chart program Total Request Live on 30 January 2002,[4] where it reached number one.[5] It was Iglesias's first video to retire from the chart at #1.

"Escape" made quite an impression on the Billboard charts. It reached #12 on the Hot 100, #1 on Hot Dance Club Songs, #2 on Latin Songs, and #7 on Pop Songs.

I have to admit that in high school a couple friends and I made up a silly little dance to the chorus of this song. We were bored after gym and hanging out in the locker room when inspiration struck. We were ridiculous. And luckily, that was before smartphones, so there is no video proof.
