Throwback Thursday ‘Be With You’ by Enrique Iglesias (2000)

"Be With You" by Enrique Iglesias was the second single off of the album, Enrique. Enrique was the debut English language album for Iglesias.

"Be With You" was co-written by Enrique Iglesias and duo, Mark Taylor and Brian Rawling. Those two were behind Cher's hit song, "Believe."

"Be With You" eventually became Enrique's second #1 in the US. It went to #1 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Dance Club Songs chart. It also won the Grammy for Best Dance Recording.

The music video was directed by Dave Meyers and features Shannon Elizabeth as the main love interest. Enrique's friends in the music video are actually played by his real life friends. The club in the music video is now closed, but it was an LA hot spot called, Point Night Club.

The other location in the music video is Vasquez Rocks in northern Los Angeles County.

There are two versions of the song and music video. One features a break down of the Thunderpuss 2000 remix and the other is the full album version without the remix.

Correction, there is actually a third version of the song and music video in Spanish.
