A surprisingly large turnout for the local Women’s March happened on Saturday morning (January 21) in Downtown Sioux Falls. Just over 3,300 women, men and children marched together peacefully in solidarity with Women’s March Washington DC, along with many other marches across the world.

Former Legislature and recent Candidate for House Paula Hawks spoke at one of the stops in front of City Hall. Hawks says it’s important to get involved to make a difference both here at home and on a federal level.
