This Guy Was Fired After He Tattooed His Dog And Posted Picture
It will soon be a crime to pierce or tattoo your companion animal in anywhere New York state. To which I ask: "Why the heck would anyone tattoo a pet?"
Penalties for violations of the new law would range from up to 15 days in jail and fines up to $250
The tattoo artist who tattooed his dog (see picture below) was fired after he posted the photo on Instagram.
New York Governor Cuomo said: “This is animal abuse, pure and simple. I’m proud to sign this common sense legislation and end these cruel and unacceptable practices in New York once and for all.”
What do you think? Is giving a pet, that can't give consent, a tattoo or piercing animal abuse? How about giving a kid a piercing or tattoo when they can't give consent? Is that child abuse? Well??
