There will be one more monkey for you to look at the next time you visit the Great Plains Zoo and Delbridge Museum of Natural History in Sioux Falls.

On Tuesday, the Zoo announced the birth of a male Snow Monkey baby.

The baby was born to 6-year-old Isshi and 9-year-old Kisho on June 10.

Snow Monkeys are one of 23 endangered species that the Great Plains Zoo breeds and cares for. Currently there are 12 Snow Monkeys living at the Zoo.

When born, the average Snow Monkey infant will weigh around one pound. Baby Snow Monkeys are carried around on their mothers' bellies for the first four weeks after being born.

The Snow Monkey's are native to the snowy mountains of Japan and are well known for being very intelligent and very sociable. Who wouldn't want to hang out and swing with a Snow Monkey, right?

The new baby Snow Monkey is currently without a name, but that will change soon. The Great Plains Zoo is giving people the opportunity to bid for a chance to name the new little fella during their Jungle Jubilee event on Thursday, July 23 2015.

Also up for grabs during this year's Jungle Jubilee live auction is the opportunity to bid on a private dinner package with the Snow Monkeys. That's right, you just might get the chance to have an exclusive dinner party with the Snow Monkeys at the Great Plains Zoo.

Ben Davis eat your heart out!

I wonder if it's BYOB? (Bring your own banana.)
