Since the August 2015 release of The Weeknd's sophomore studio album Beauty Behind the Madness, the Canadian singer has experienced more mainstream success and recognition than ever before, with his landmark run continuing on Sunday night (April 3rd) in Calgary for Canada's Juno Awards, where a two song performance doubled for screen time during the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Most impressive perhaps was the fact that The Weeknd was nominated across six different iHeartRadio Music Award categories for three different songs, and performs not a one of them in the video above. As with this year's Grammys, Weeknd lost out on the Album of the Year win to Taylor Swift and her 1989, but he took home some hardware for R&B Song of the Year, a category he was nominated in twice for "The Hills" and "Earned It," the latter of the two earning him the prize. Other nominations included Male Artist of the Year and Song of the Year, in which his "Can't Feel My Face" lost out to Adele's "Hello."

Above though, The Weeknd, who just released a remix to Byson Tiller's "Rambo" in which he reflects on his January 2015 Las Vegas arrest, performs "Acquainted" and "Might Not," the latter being a recent Belly song in which the singer is featured. At around the 3:12 mark, Belly joins the Juno stage to deliver his verse. The track's central conceit of possibly not making it doesn't really apply to Weeknd in the new year, as his superstardom continues to build. Watch his Juno Awards performance up above. The singer took home five awards at this year's ceremony, including best single for "Can't Feel My Face," best album for Beauty Behind the Madness, artist of the year, best songwriter and best R&B/soul recording for Beauty Behind the Madness.
