‘Walking Dead’ Sneak Peek: Daryl Enters ‘The Next World,’ Full of Corn

Sunday’s Walking Dead premiere left quite a bit to live up to in the remaining seven hours of Season 6, and Rick and Daryl are already venturing out to fill the void. The badass Walking duo leaves Alexandria in search of corn, as The Walking Dead releases its first previews of “The Next World.”

Following its jaw-dropping premiere, AMC released the first official clip from next Sunday’s hour, as Eugene attempts to instill the importance of Rick and Daryl returning with some agricultural supplies. The overall episode preview also teases a meaty turn for Michonne and Spencer outside the walls, so might we see the undead Deanna after all?

In the meantime, so reads the always-vague AMC synopsis for “The Next World”:

A simple scavenging run proves to be more tricky, when the survivors are not the only ones after a goldmine of supplies.

Cool beans! Er … cool grains. In any case, Daryl seems to be doing well after his suspicious premiere injury, but will Rick maintain his composure, given the events of Sunday’s premiere? Might those followers of Negan come into play sooner than their explosive exit would suggest?
