‘The Walking Dead’ has a Midwest Connection in Emily Kinney

The TV show The Walking Dead has a bit of a Midwestern connection. Emily Kinney who plays Beth Green on the show is from Wayne, Nebraska. She was just promoted to series regular on the show and has performed on Broadway and acted on other TV shows.

She was born in Wayne, Nebraska in 1985 and graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Nebraska in 2006. After college she moved to New York to act.

Emily is also a singer and songwriter, her EP Blue Toothbrush came out in 2011, and she has a new collection coming out October 22nd.
