The Tonys Performance You Haven’t Seen…Yet

I love the Tonys! For a midwestern gal who loves the theater, it is the only way to get to see all the new Broadway shows.

I mean, unless I took a trip to NYC every year and maxed out like 12 credit cards to see every show, which is a dream of mine. (Without the debt.)

Anyway, there were many very memorable performances from last night's show including Hamilton, The Color Purple, and Shuffle Along, but perhaps one of the best, most raw performances was during a commercial break.

James Corden was the host, and he is known for Carpool Karaoke on his late night show, so for the Tonys, they did 'commercial break karaoke,' get it?

Anyway, Sean Hayes and Jake Gyllenhaal performed a Disney classic from Aladdin. See their rendition of "A Whole New World" featuring James Corden.

Jake's got some pipes! Who knew?

I would love to go to the Tony Awards live, just to be in the room where it happened.
