The Summit League Championship games worked out just the way you planned!

It will be an in-state final for the women and a border-battle for the men.

Number one University of South Dakota advances to its fourth consecutive Summit League Tournament Championship game after defeating Oral Roberts 78-61 Monday at the Denny Sanford Premier Center.

Meanwhile, SDSU  eliminated Omaha 76-60.  The Jackrabbits have won six Summit League championships in the last seven years, and are 20-1 overall in the tournament.

Tip-off is 1:00 pm today.

Two one point games for the men had fans on their feet in the final minutes of both men's semifinals.

Trailing 49-36 with just over five minutes left in the game, SDSU went on a run that ended in a one point 54-53 victory over Denver. SDSU improves to 25-7 with the win.

Next it was NDSU's turn for a nail biter and the Bison squeaked by Fort Wayne 69-68.

Tonight's game, which will be a rematch of last year's title game, begins at 8:00 pm.
