With Summer TV being kind of poopy, I found myself on Netflix last night perusing the selection. I'm not even sure how I found it, but I came across The Skeleton Twins. It's a dramedy starring SNL alumni, Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader.

I remember vaguely hearing about this movie when it was in theaters and the fact that two of my favorite SNL people were in it, I figured I'd give it a try.

While the movie is funny, it is definitely dark as well. Kristen and Bill play twins whose father killed himself when they were kids. They have issues with their mother and both of their personal lives are in shambles. After ten years of not speaking, the two are brought together after a traumatic incident.

This movie deals with a lot of heavy subject matter like suicide, molestation, and adultery just to name a few.

But in-between the real dark heavy human moments little nuggets pop up like this one. This was probably my favorite scene of the whole movie. But I'm always a sucker for any kind of dance/musical number in a movie. Especially when totally unexpected.
