If you enjoy gazing up at the nighttime sky, then tonight you will see an amazing site! The Orionid Meteor Showers will peak tonight and Friday (Oct. 20-21) and continue through early November. This year you can expect to see 15 to 20 meteors per hour. The best time to seen them is right before dawn looking east.

Did you know that the meteors from the Orionid Meteor Shower are pieces and debris from the famous Halley’s Comet? The comet itself returns about every 75 years, and is next expected in 2061.
