The first trailer for the first post-Age of Ultron marvel move, Ant-Man, is here. We've seen some teaser stuff already, but this trailer gives us the best look at the tone and plot of the movie.

I have been a little worried about this movie ever since it was announced. The ideas and concept of the Ant-Man character seemed to be an unfilmable endeavor. Then I saw Guardians of the Galaxy. If Marvel could take that book and create a film that was as much fun as that with it's crazy characters, humor and comic-book space plot then I have faith that Marvel can make Ant-Man good. Because humor is again going to bean important part of this story.

There were some bumps. Director Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead) was first brought on to helm the project, exciting news because he definitively has the comedy chops. But he left the project because of creative differences with Marvel. They brought in director Peyton Reed. I didn't know his name, but checking his credits he's worked on the Upright Citizens Brigade show and Mr. Show with Bob and David, it looks like he can do it too.

The movie also stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang a talented burglar. Rudd is an actor that can do funny and sincere without being sappy. Michael Douglas plays scientist Hank Pym who hooks up with Lang to steal Pym's Ant-Man suit back from evil people, and stuff like that.

In the trailer we get a good look at the humor with Lang's dissatisfaction with the name Ant-Man and a vengeful Thomas the Train. Plus, we meet the villain Yellowjacket.
