Three Sioux Falls teenagers are charged with at least 17 vandalism cases, all involving spray paint and all on the city's east side.

Police spokesman Sam Clemens says the first reports came in Tuesday morning, with spray-painted buildings and a few vehicles.

But he says police got a break in the case just after 7pm, when a citizen reported seeing as many as five people spray-painting the back of a building in the 900 block of East 8th Street:

Clemens identified the 19-year-old as Edgar Segura of Sioux Falls.

He says all three were charged with felony intentional damage to property.

The vandalisms all occurred within a few blocks of each other, on East 6th, 8th and 10th Streets and on Lewis, Indiana and Fairfax Avenues, and clemens says more cases were found after the three were arrested.
