Before the clock struck midnight last night on New Years Eve, Taylor Swift closed 2015 with a bang by releasing the music video for "Out of the Woods," her sixth single off the 1989 album.

The video premiered during last night's broadcast of Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest and made its way online shortly afterwards. As of this morning, the video as already racked up 1.7 million views overnight.

"Out of the Woods" was directed by Joseph Kahn, who worked with Swift on the videos for "Blank Space," "Bad Blood" and "Wildest Dreams." In the video, Swift is seen running through a forrest, trying to evade a pack of wolves while wearing a sky blue dress. Once she's "out of the woods," she then begins to brave the harsh elements of nature: snow, heat, rain and fire.

The song was co-written by Jack Antonoff and was first released as a promotional single in Oct. 2014. The track debuted and peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 18, while topping the Hot Digital Songs chart by selling 150,000 copies upon its first week of release.
