I came across this online recently. It's a wonderful video of a family bike ride through Sioux Falls in 1966.

It's a fascinating look at our city when the population was around 70,000 people. In this silent home movie from Facebook user Dan Patterson, we get to see Minnesota Avenue from I-229 north. There's a stop at a classic McDonald's and a look at the businesses on Minnesota. We get a glimpse of K-Mart, The Barrel, and I spotted an S&H Green Stamps sign! There's a stop at a park (I think it's McKennen Park). The Bohemian Band is playing at the Dakota Ballroom downtown and The Ghost and Mr. Chicken is playing at the Hollywood Theater. Mr. Bendo even makes an appearance. Plus, there's lots of classic cars and so much more!
