It was a great day for two Universities in Sioux Falls on Sunday as both the University of Sioux Falls and Augustana University made the NCAA DII football playoffs.
USF went 10-1 during the regular season and is ranked 18th in the country. With 24 teams getting into the Division II Playoffs, it would be a shoe in for them to get in right? I guess not.
For the 11th consecutive season, Concordia-St. Paul has been picked to win the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference volleyball crown in a vote of league coaches.
Northern State's Kelsey Chambers is the coaches preseason Player of the Year.
The University of Sioux Falls is picked fifth and Augustana sixth in the 2014 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference football coaches poll. Minnesota-Duluth is the favorite to win the conference this year.
