Tonight (April 16) marked the second night of battle rounds on ‘The Voice,’ and Usher pitted California stud Josiah Hawley and singer-songwriter Jeff Lewis against each other. The duo’s heated rendition of the Police’s ‘Roxanne’ presented their coach with a very tough decision.
In an inexplicable hour-and-a-half long episode, in order to fill the time, there were a bunch of extra performances and B-roll footage, and when it was Terry McDermott's turn, the show made no exception in the storytelling.
For the longest time I couldn't bring myself to watch any music competition show on TV. As someone who spends their life discovering, producing, remixing and programming talent – it was just to difficult for me to watch the fate of talented (and in some cases untalented) people be decided by the public at large.
