UPDATE: The police standoff has ended. According to police, 25 year old Cody Michael Smith was arrested for possession of a controlled substance about 1:30 on Thursday afternoon.  The standoff lasted approximately 4.5 hours and Smith submitted to authorities without incident. #### According to Argus 911, a warrant service call in the 600 block of South Marion has turned into a standoff situation.

A Sioux Falls man is in custody after a short standoff in the northern part of the city. 36 year old David Jeremy Neuroth, Jr. is wanted in connection with a Tuesday night incident.
