Government Shutdown

Here in South Dakota we've enjoyed relatively low unemployment.  And now that the U.S. Government has shutdown we still look pretty good compared to the national numbers. Yes, the furlough has closed many of our prime tourist attractions in the Black Hills...

So the government shutdown was put into effect today because Congress and Senate couldn't agree on a spending plan or something like that.  This shutdown includes national parks, monuments, and museums. Google had a special doodle today to celebrate Yosemite National Park's 123rd anniversary, but it is closed today...
