Augustana grabbed a season-high 49 rebounds, including a season-high 19 on the offensive glass, in an 89-68 win over Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday night in St. Paul.

A pair of Augustana volleyball players have earned All-America honors. Vikings senior Holly Hafemeyer picked up first team All-America honors and junior Courtney Ysker was named an All-America honorable mention by the American Volleyball Coaches Association on Wednesday.

Seven players from the University of Sioux Falls and six from Augustana were honored on the 2013 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference All-Conference Football Teams.

First-year head coach Jerry Olszewski has had an up-and-down season at Augustana, but he has loved the opportunity to coach at the Division II level.

The Augustana women's basketball team was picked to finish fourth overall and fourth in the South Division in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll. Coaches picked the University of Sioux Falls to finish 11th overall and fifth in the South.

After appearances in last season's NCAA Division II playoffs, the Augustana Vikings basketball teams have earned Top 25 preseason rankings. The Viking women are ranked 16th and the men 22nd in the Division II Bulletin Preseason Top 25 polls released on Monday.

The band is best known for the #1 hit song, “Hey There Delilah” have a show in November at the Washington Pavilion.

Wayne State scored all the points it needed in the first quarter of a defensive battle to come away with a 10-7 victory over Augustana Saturday at Kirkeby-Over Stadium.

Augustana is tied for sixth place and the University of Sioux Falls is 10th following the fall portion of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference men's golf tournament.

The Augustana Vikings gave Jerry Olszewski a win in his first game as head coach. The Vikings raced out to a 41-7 halftime lead, then held off Minnesota State-Moorhead 41-28 in the season opener for both teams at Kirkeby-Over Stadium.
