They say that Disneyworld is the happiest place on earth! Unfortunately, some of us have gone our whole lives without going there. Well one cafeteria worker will be getting that chance thanks to some students at Elon university.

It all began when Kathryn Thompson, who works the night shift at the college’s Acorn Coffee shop, struck up a conversation with the two Elon University students, Lucy Smith-Williams and Taylor Zisholtz, in mid-September. When Thompson learned that one of students was from Florida, she said that she always want to go there but was always out of reach due to the cost.

So the two students created a GoFundMe page and set their goal for $6,500 — the approximate cost to take Thompson’s family of five to the famed theme park. In just a few weeks, the school raised more that $ 7,000. The only thing left to do was to tell her in person.
