Local officials are saying that to report power outages call Xcel Energy at 1-800-895-1999.
To report downed trees or branches blocking roads within the city of Sioux Falls, call 605-367-8255.
There is free fallen branch drop-off at the City Street Department (1000 East Chambers Street) and the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds (North Lyons Boulevard) to assist with branch cleanup due to the ice storm.
In Sioux Falls, call 2-1-1 if you have questions about who to contact for storm-related issues.
Travel only if necessary within the city. The Sheriff’s Office is advising no travel on the county highway system.
