Still Waiting for Full Capacity of 10th and Sycamore
We are still chasing orange cones in Sioux Falls as work at 10th and Sycamore continues. Take heart! The end is in sight.
As of mid-September, the traffic is still a slow go at this major intersection. East and west traffic is not yet ready to make full use of the junction for about a month. The south side of the intersection is pretty clean with work needed on the north side to reach full capacity.
Note to drivers: even though the north-south stretch might be complete first, not all the lanes will be fully utilized for a while. There is only one lane available to use going east and west so the dual turning lanes will be a pipe dream until hopefully late October.
See for yourself in the clip below.
