Stephen Colbert, host of 'The Colbert Report,' poked fun at country singer Brad Paisley's newest song 'Accidental Racist' --in which Brad basically tries to solve racism by teaming up with LL Cool J and doing things like apologizing for that one time he wore a Confederate flag T-shirt because he loves Lynyrd Skynyrd.

To sum things up, with lyrics like "If you don't judge my gold chains / I'll forget the iron chains," it's all pretty awkward.

In response, Colbert took on the gay marriage issue in similar fashion, joining forces with the always adorable Alan Cumming for a song called 'Oopsie-Daisy Homophobe.'

Even with Colbert singing "I'm proud of my hetero cred / but not everything Rush Limbaugh said" and Cumming rapping "If you don't judge my parades / I'll forget what you said about monkeys and AIDS," it's still 100 times less awkward than 'Accidental Racist.' Not that such a thing is difficult to accomplish.

Watch the entire video for all the hilarity -- and don't forget, if anything you do or say offends somebody, just explain that you're a Lynyrd Skynyrd fan. That makes it all better.
