Spring Is Here and That Means It’s Time for the Farmers’ Markets to Open in Sioux Falls
The strawberries are juicier, the corn is sweeter and the tomatoes are tastier when you buy them at the farmers' market. Whether you're looking for fresh asparagus in the spring to sweet corn in the summer and pumpkins in the fall, you can count on your local farmers to provide them.
This weekend, several farmers' markets will open in Sioux Falls.
The newest of the Sioux Falls farmers' markets is located year-round at Cherapa Place in downtown Sioux Falls. It will be open from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM Saturday, May 2, 2015 and will also feature a Midweek Market on Tuesdays from 3:00pm - 7:00 PM. You'll find produce, eggs, meat, coffee, canned goods, baked goods, flowers, soap, gifts and plants.
Located at 8th and Railroad Center. You'll find herbs, produce, flowers, plants, baked good, wood-fired pizza and more. Open Saturdays through October from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
Located at Falls Park across the street from the Horse Barn. Get your weekly supply of flowers, fresh vegetables, meat, baked goods, honey and more. Open Saturdays through October from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
