SD’s Tia Hemiller-Summit League Player of the Week

USD guard Tia Hemiller is the Summit League Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.

The Watertown native averaged 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists while shooting 48 percent in a pair of Coyote wins over Valparaiso and Cleveland State.

In the Cleveland State game, the sophomore notched the first double-double of her college career: 13 points and 10 rebounds.

South Dakota (9-6) starts Summit League Sunday afternoon at Denver.
