Throughout her entire career, Becky Hammon has been showing that boundaries are only set by those who don't want to achieve more.

Hammon has been a spectacular WNBA star for years until she retired this past summer and joined the staff of the San Antonio Spurs.

She became the first woman assistant coach on the Spurs staff and currently in the NBA.  In fact, she became only the second woman to sit on a NBA bench as in the history of the league as well.

For all that she has meant to women's sports, this honor is certainly appropriate.

ESPNW has named Becky Hammon the Woman of the Year for 2014.

From all of us here at ESPN 99.1 and I think we can speak for the entire state of South Dakota, WELL DONE BECKY, WELL DONE!
