South Dakotans Will Soon Pay Amazon Tax

South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard announced Tuesday that colossal online retailer Amazon will start collecting state sales tax on any purchases made in South Dakota.

In the Governor's State of the State address he said Amazon will voluntarily start collecting sales tax on Feb. 1st, 2017.

Amazon now collects taxes in South Dakota and 34 other states.
